Good vs. Evil

Since the dawn of time good and evil have supposedly worked against each other.  I don't believe, however, that a human can be completely good or evil.  Most people in fact are in the gray area.  Everyone does things that are considered evil, but that doesn't mean that they're bad people.
You also have to think from the point of view of the person committing the good deed or the bad deed.  If someone murders your parents, is it evil to kill them?  What about if they kill everyone you care about?  Putting them in jail isn't going to bring the loved ones back, but neither is killing to one responsible.  Questions like these are what causes me to believe that no one is completely bad or good.
If you got rid of evil there wouldn't really be good anymore.  It's the same thing if you switch it around.  If there was none of evil then everyone would be perfectly behaved.  Not only would that be kind of boring; it would also undermine the value of being a good person.  If there was no good evil would be normal, and chaos would reign supreme.  I think we need both to live in balance.
